The differences between CNC punch presses and ordinary mechanical punch presses are as follows:
The speed of ordinary mechanical punching machine is slow, ordinary punching machine is only under 200 strokes/minute, while CNC punching machine is generally about 3-800 strokes/minute.
The precision of ordinary mechanical punching machine is average, while the precision of CNC punching machine is high, and the precision can reach 0.01mm.
Ordinary mechanical punches are generally very cheap, a common tonnage ordinary punch is between a few thousand dollars and 20,000 dollars, while a CNC punch is generally between 10,000 and 80,000 dollars. The budget for a CNC punch can buy 2-3 ordinary mechanical punches with the same impact, and some even more.
Ordinary mechanical punching machines can only do simple up and down punching movements, which can be controlled by hand or foot; while CNC punching machines can be controlled by the display screen or manually.
Ordinary mechanical punching machines have no safety devices and are prone to danger; CNC punching machines have photoelectric protection devices and servo motors. As long as the hand enters the protection zone, the machine will automatically stop working.
